Amazingly, rainy days don't bother me the way they used to back in my emo days. What I don't like about the rains nowadays would be its effect on the overall 'room' temp of my office, car and my bedroom. Even if I put the thermostat on a higher temp and put the fan on low, my spine tingles the way it does on a cold December morning. Some may argue that it's just old age but I still maintain that the degradation of the environment is causing these abnormal temperature fluctuations.
I woke up this morning with a slight fever and sore throat. AH1N1!?! Not quite. I blame it on the rain - because after a dose of paracetamol, I was okay. I was able to report for work, attend a training program, respond to some e-mails and make all these necessary phone calls.
I had an informal coaching session with my team last night and I was really glad that we were able to open up to one another and clearly define levels of involvement, at work and on a more personal level.
I seriously aspire to become somebody who'd be able to make a difference in the lives of these people and I pray that God will provide me with the grace to carry out this mission.
Everyday, I thank God for all the blessings that abound my existence. And if you're reading this post, I pray that you will find it in you to wholeheartedly believe that our lives were designed to be perfect, even in its imperfections.
Have a blessed night!
